Due to three crashes inside the final 3k of the race, all riders who were with the main field at the time of the first incident will be awarded same time per rule 4E3(b). Managers and riders should note that the rule states that riders will be awarded the place that they crossed the line but the time of the leaders. Please note the actual rider time in results.
Riders are reminded not to discard water bottles or other refuse except in designated areas.
Rider # 8 VAN POPPEL, Boy (UnitedHealthcare) is fined $50 for violation of 4H14(e) – Illegal tossing of an object (water bottle) per the race special regulations.
Rider # 94 MAGNER, Ty (Team Type 1) is fined $50 for violation of 4H14(e) – Illegal tossing of an object (water bottle) per the race special regulations.
