Menomonie Road Race
Saturday, June 16

New last year, this race instantly became a classic and rider favorite.

Finishing with several circuits inside the city, the course will take in the challenging rural county roads outside the city that have been a favorite with cyclists of the upper Midwest for years. The men’s road race consists of 95 miles, marked by rolling hills and long climbs that are sure to impact the standings for the entire Nature Valley Grand Prix. Meanwhile, the women will cover a 76 mile course that follows the same beginning and ending roadways.

Menomonie is also playing to lots of fun family activities, amateur racing and our first Gran Fondo plus spectator rides will take in several viewing spots of the race ahead of the pros. Learn more about the activities and our host city here.

Fan Zone Sports Tip: the rolling hills will favor the more powerful riders over the sprinters and a small group could breakaway from the peloton and take the win
