Pro/1 Men’s & Pro/1/2 Women’s Invitational Stage Races

  • Six Stages - One individual time trial, two road races and three criteriums
  • Entry Fee: Men - $195 per rider, Women - $125 per rider

Registered Racers/Teams - Please be sure to review the information in the "Race Information for Registered Teams" section below!

Men

  • 3 - 6 Riders per team; no individual riders
  • Limited to 150 riders
  • Men’s Cash Purse: $25,000

Women

  • Individuals admitted, but preference given to teams
  • Limited to 150 riders
  • Women’s Cash Purse: $15,000

Invitation Application Information

  • Applications for invitations should be submitted online at https://naturevalleybikefest.webconnex.com/application2013
    • No other application forms will be accepted.
    • The application forms must be completed entirely and accurately. Failure to do so may harm your team’s chances of being accepted and could result in a fine, if accepted.
  • Applications will be evaluated starting in Mid April and invitations will be issued as soon as possible.
  • Applications will be accepted until May 5, or until a field is full, but for maximum consideration applications should be submitted sooner rather than later.
  • Submission of team application does not guarantee participation.
  • Selection will be based on proven team capability.
  • Rider substitutions after completed registration will need to be approved by the Race Director prior to Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Changes to team rosters will not be allowed after June 5. (Exceptions possible for injured riders.)
  • A fine of $200 maximum per rider may be assessed at the Race Director’s discretion for unauthorized changes to a team’s roster.
  • Fines will be due at Packet Pick-up.

Race Information for Registered Teams

All Registrants

  • A current USA Cycling license and signed USA Cycling release form must be presented for each rider at Packet Pick-up.
  • The Nature Valley Grand Prix Technical Guide will be posted above (under men or women) as soon as it as ready.  You will be able to download the PDF file above once it is loaded and paper copies will be distributed at Packet Pickup.
  • All riders will be held responsible for the information in the technical guide.

These will be available at packet pick-up or can be downloaded from above & completed ahead of time.

Important Notes:

  • The USA Cycling Event Release Form MUST be signed in ink by each rider. Faxes, copies, or other signatures of anyone else will invalidate these forms.
  • Licenses must be presented for all participants.
  • Guest riders and composite team riders will need to have permission letters from their home team.
  • Non-UCI foreign riders will need to have permission letters from their federation and insurance.
  • Race numbers will be held for any participants without a license or completed entry packet.

Men

  • Packet Pick-up 6:00 - 7:30 PM
  • Team Meeting 7:30 PM


This is a mandatory meeting and will include caravan driving guidelines. A manager or representative from each team must attend.

Early requests for host housing receive priority. After you are registered to race, send an e-mail to the Host Housing Coordinator (info below) with your TEAM NAME in the subject line. Teams should have one (and only one) person contact us on behalf of the entire team.
